Dear All

Earlier I was communicated the email regarding participation in student peace declaration 

If someone is interested please let me know , if there are multiple requests we can vote on it.

As the person didn't share deadline , let's try to gather interest from all by 1st aug. Accordingly I will create poll

Disclaimer: Alliance doesn't fund your mobility (giving money for stay and travel) by itself but if you are nominated by us . You can contact your coordinator at uni to see if funding can be made possible for you.

Dear Kartik,

The deadline is not over, sadly there was a complication with the date written on the document, however the deadline is still open.

The mobility is not funded by EUPeace due to large numbers of participation. However all participants are welcomed if they are funded by a sponsor, university or alliance and in the extreme case by themselves. In case of any additional paperwork and documents for internal foundation, we can always offer our support. (For example with a formal invitation written for specific individuals)

        Dear colleagues,

        Before we all head off for a well-deserved summer break, I would like to extend a personal invitation to you fellow alliances—and more specifically to your student bodies—to join the Students’ Peace Declaration, initiated by the Student Council of EUPeace.

        The Signing Ceremony will take place on 17 September at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, in a year that marks the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Agreement.

        Students and colleagues at the University of Sarajevo have already reached out to universities in the region and their close partners across Europe. We believe this event offers an important opportunity for student bodies from our alliances to connect and continue building the foundation for a shared future—both in the region and beyond.

        The event is intended as a platform for youth-led advocacy around peace, democratic governance, and regional cooperation. It will provide students with the opportunity to engage directly with EU institutions, national governments, and international organisations, highlighting the strategic role of universities, university alliances, and students in promoting democratic resilience and peacebuilding, especially in the face of today's global challenges.

        Please find attached the invitation letter and the current draft programme. While the full list of participants will be shared at a later stage, we are pleased to count on the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is actively working on confirming the participation of high-level representatives.

        Should your students have any questions, our student representatives can be contacted via the addresses listed in the invitation letter. Participants are also warmly invited to stay after the ceremony for a joint event organised with the French Embassy and French Institute in Sarajevo.

        I would be very grateful if you could kindly forward this message to your relevant student bodies. We look forward to welcoming them in Sarajevo this September.
