[Bauhausballert] Aktuelle Entwicklungen M18

Liebe Alle,

wir möchten euch über die neuen Entwicklungen bezüglich der Mäuse in der 
M18 informieren.

Letzte Woche haben die Liegenschaften einen Kammerjäger beauftragt. Da 
die Kosten unter 500 Euro lagen, haben sie keine Vergleichsangebote 
eingeholt und uns direkt über den Auftrag informiert.

Der Kammerjäger hat heute Morgen das Gebäude inspiziert, um die 
Situation genauer einzuschätzen. Daraufhin wurden im Erdgeschoss 
Schnappfallen (gemäß den Vorgaben des Tierschutzes) sowie jeweils vier 
Giftköder in jedem Stockwerk, speziell in den Räumen, in denen 
Mäusespuren gesichtet wurden, ausgelegt. Wir haben darauf hingewiesen, 
dass wir eine möglichst tierfreundliche Lösung bevorzugen. Jedoch 
erklärte der Kammerjäger, dass die Giftköder notwendig seien, da man 
aufgrund der Sichtung der Spuren in allen Stockwerken davon ausgehen 
kann, dass es sich um viele und nicht nur ein paar Mäusen handelt und 
sie sich demnach auch schon länger im Gebäude aufhalten würden. Aufgrund 
dessen könnte man das Problem nicht nur durch Schnappfallen lösen.

Es ist von äußerster Wichtigkeit, dass die Fallen und Köder dort 
bleiben, wo sie auch aufgestellt wurden, da es sonst zu Problemen mit 
dem Gesundheitsamt kommen kann. Die Standorte wurden entsprechend 
dokumentiert.

Nächste Woche Mittwoch kommt der Kammerjäger nochmal zum weiteren 
Aufstellen und zur Überprüfung der Fallen. Die darauffolgende Inspektion 
ist in 4 Wochen.

Es werden Aushänge zur Information der Fallen angebracht sowie rote 
Warnaufkleber zum allgemeinen Problem. Eine Grundreinigung folgt sobald 
das Mäuseproblem gelöst ist.

Der Kammerjäger hat zwecks gesundheitlichen Risiken entwarnt, so dass 
die M18 wieder für die Personen, die die Räumlichkeiten nutzen wollen, 
geöffnet werden kann. Jedoch müssen Kontor&Stift und das S140 Café 
weiterhin geschlossen bleiben.

Wir sind noch am abklären ob eine Kanalinspektion parallel zu den 
aktuellen Maßnahmen stattfinden kann. Sobald wir Rückmeldung haben, wird 
dies auch noch stattfinden.

Da auf Grund der Giftköder verendete Mäuse sich überall im Haus befinden 
können, wird es (ALLE Räume) einmal täglich nach ihnen abgesucht.

Derzeit ist es leider noch unklar, wie lange die Maßnahmen andauern 
werden.

Dear all,

We would like to inform you about the new developments regarding the 
mice in the M18.

Last week, the Estate Department commissioned an exterminator. As the 
costs were less than 500 euros, they did not ask for any comparative 
offers and informed us directly about the contract.

The exterminator inspected the building this morning to assess the 
situation more accurately. As a result, snap traps were placed on the 
ground floor (in accordance with animal welfare regulations) and four 
poison baits were placed on each floor, especially in the rooms where 
traces of mice were spotted. We pointed out that we favoured a solution 
that was as animal-friendly as possible. However, the exterminator 
explained that the poison baits were necessary because, based on the 
sighting of the tracks on all floors, it could be assumed that there 
were many mice and not just a few, and that they had therefore been in 
the building for some time. This means that the problem cannot be solved 
by using snap traps alone.

It is of the utmost importance that the traps and baits remain where 
they are placed, as otherwise there may be problems with the health 
authorities. The locations have been documented accordingly.

The exterminator will be back next week on Wednesday to continue setting 
up and checking the traps. The next inspection is in 4 weeks.

Notices will be put up to inform people about the traps and red warning 
stickers about the general problem. A thorough cleaning will follow as 
soon as the mice problem has been solved.

The exterminator has issued a warning regarding health risks, so that 
the M18 can be reopened to people who wish to use the premises. However, 
Kontor&Stift and the S140 Café must remain closed.

We are still clarifying whether a canal inspection can take place in 
parallel with the current measures. As soon as we have feedback, this 
will also take place.

As dead mice can be found anywhere in the building due to the poisoned 
bait, it (ALL rooms) will be searched for them once a day.

Unfortunately, it is not yet clear how long the measures will last.
