Jede*r Studierende hat 5 Stimmen und kann diese nach Belieben auf 
Kandidat*innen ihrer*seiner Fachschaft verteilen. Dieses Jahr bieten wir 
eine Online- und eine Briefwahl an.

Each student has 5 votes and can distribute these as they wish among the 
candidates of their student body. This year we offer an online and a

wie viele von euch sicherlich bereits mitbekommen haben, fanden      
letzten Montag bundesweit Kundgebungen statt, um auf die      
finanziellen Probleme vieler Studierender aufmerksam zu machen.      
Kommende Woche wollen wir dies mit einer zentralen Aktion und mit      
hoffentlich breiter Unterstützung aus dem Solidarsemester Bündnis      
noch einmal zentral in Berlin wiederholen.
Los geht's am 20. Juni um 14 Uhr beim Berliner Hauptbahnhof      
(Washingtonplatz).
Wir würden uns freuen, dort möglichst viele von euch zu sehen und      – 
auch wenn ihr es vllt. selber nicht schafft – ihr den Demoaufruf      
verbreitet und dazu aufruft, zu der Demo zu gehen.

Eine Milliarde für eine Million – Studi-Hilfe jetzt!

       Studierenden muss endlich geholfen werden! Das steht fest,        
aber das scheint die Bundesregierung nicht zu interessieren.        
Daher ruft das Bündnis Solidarsemester für den 20.06.2020 um 14        
Uhr zu einer Demonstration in Berlin auf. Startpunkt ist der        
Hauptbahnhof (Washingtonplatz). Das Motto: „Eine Milliarde für        
eine Million – Studi-Hilfe jetzt!"

       Eine Million Studierende befinden sich in einer großen        
finanziellen Notlage und auch drei Monate nach Beginn der Krise        
ist keine echte Hilfe in Sicht. Sie bekommen nämlich keine        
Grundsicherung oder andere Transferleistungen. Nur 12% aller        
Studierenden erhalten BAföG. Nachdem seit März 40% der        
Studierenden ihre Jobs verloren haben, bleibt Hunderttausenden        
die Wahl zwischen Studienabbruch und Überschuldung. Mit        
Bildungsgerechtigkeit hat das nichts zu tun. Es muss etwas        
passieren, sonst gerät die Corona-Krise zur Bildungskatastrophe!

       Bundesbildungsministerin Karliczek sieht das wohl anders.        
Ihre „Überbrückungshilfe" besteht aus hoch zu verzinsenden        
Krediten und einem Mini-Nothilfefonds.

       KREDITE FÜR DIE STUDIENFINANZIERUNG LEHNEN WIR AB! Nur ein        
bedarfsgerechter Zuschuss ohne Rückzahlung kann wirklich helfen.

Wenn ihr zusätzlich auch noch bei euch eine Demo organisiert,      
meldet euch gerne. In Baden-Württemberg sind z.b. für den 30. Juni      
noch Landesweite Aktionen geplant und auch aus anderen Städten      
haben wir schon von weiteren Aktionen gehört.

Abseits von den Finanziellen Notlage vieler Studierender hier      noch 
ein weiteres Thema:
       Vor ein paar Wochen wurde der fzs von zwei Profs angeschrieben,    
   die einen offenen Brief mit dem (vielleicht etwas provokanten)      
Titel "Zur Verteidigung der Präsenzlehre" verfasst haben. Vieles      
aus dem Brief deckt sich mit unsere Forderungen aus dem      
Solidarsemester und nachdem das kommende Wintersemester immer      näher 
rückt, schien uns das als ein passender Zeitpunkt, solch      einen 
Brief zu unterstützen. Auf Twitter gab es bereits eine      Debatte, ob 
der Brief einfach eine Rückkehr zu rein analoger Lehre      fordert, was 
wir – und auch die Initiator*innen – natürlich auch      keinesfalls

Der von Polizisten ausgelöste grausame Erstickungstod von George Floyd
bringt derzeit Millionen Menschen weltweit auf die Straße. Sie fordern
Gerechtigkeit für die Angehörigen, rücken aber auch den strukturellen
Rassismus in den Fokus: "Black Lives Matter" (Schwarze Leben zählen")
lautet die zentrale Forderung.
In zwei Veranstaltungen wollen wir uns mit den langen Wurzeln
rassistischer Polizeigewalt in den USA einerseits und mit der Bewegung
"Black Lives Matter", ihrer Entstehung und ihren Forderungen
andererseits auseinandersetzen.

Die aktuelle rassistische Polizeigewalt in den USA hat lange Wurzeln,
die tief in die Geschichte der weißen Vormachtstellung zurückreichen. Um
die aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Auseinandersetzungen besser zu
verstehen, wollen wir gemeinsam mit dem Historiker Silvan Niedermeier
einen Blick auf die lange Geschichte weißer Polizeigewalt und den
Protest dagegen bis zurück in die 1930er und 1940er Jahre werfen.

„ANTI-BIAS"
Anti-Bias kann heute als einer der reichhaltigsten und innovativsten 
Ansätze diskriminierungskritischer Bildungsarbeit verstanden werden. Die 
Anti-Bias-Trainingsmethoden sind in Südafrika entstanden. Die zwei 
Referentinnen, die Anti-Bias in Weimar vorstellen, gehören zu einer 
Gruppe, die das Training für Deutschland adaptiert hat. Das englische 
Wort "bias" bedeutet Voreingenommenheit, Schieflage oder Vorurteil.
Ziel der Anti-Bias-Arbeit ist die intensive erfahrungsorientierte 
Auseinandersetzung mit Macht und Diskriminierung sowie das „Verlernen" 
von unterdrückenden und diskriminierenden Kommunikations- und 
Interaktionsformen. Im Training lernen Sie erfahrungs- und 
handlungsorientierte Methoden kennen, die sich mit Vorurteilen und 
verschiedenen Arten von Diskriminierung (aufgrund von nationaler oder 
ethnischer Herkunft, aufgrund der Hautfarbe, des Geschlechts, der 
sexuellen Orientierung, körperlicher oder geistiger Gesundheit, der 
sozialen Schicht etc.) auseinander setzen.

nationwide last Monday to draw attention to the financial problems of 
many students. Next week we want to repeat this with a central action 
and hopefully with broad support from the Solidarity Alliance in Berlin.
It starts on June 20 at 2 p.m. at Berlin Central Station 
(Washingtonplatz).
We would be happy to see as many of you there as possible and - even if 
you choose to. can't do it yourself - you spread the demo call and call 
to go to the demo.

A billion for a million - student help now!

       Students must finally be helped! That is certain, but the Federal 
Government does not seem to be interested in that. Therefore, the 
Alliance Solidarity Semester is calling for a demonstration in Berlin on 
June 20, 2020 at 2 p.m. The starting point is the main train station 
(Washingtonplatz). The motto: "A billion for a million - student help 
now!"

       One million students are in dire financial straits and even three 
months after the crisis has started there is no real help in sight. You 
don't get any basic security or other transfer benefits. Only 12% of all 
students receive BAföG. After 40% of students have lost their jobs since 
March, hundreds of thousands have the choice between dropping out and 
overindebtedness. This has nothing to do with educational justice. 
Something has to happen, otherwise the corona crisis will turn into an 
educational disaster!

       Federal Minister of Education Karliczek sees it differently. Your 
"bridging aid" consists of high-interest loans and a mini emergency aid 
fund.

       WE REJECT CREDITS FOR STUDY FINANCING! Only a need-based grant 
without repayment can really help.

If you also organize a demo with you, please get in touch. In 
Baden-Württemberg, e.g. Nationwide campaigns planned for June 30th and 
we have heard of other campaigns from other cities as well.

Apart from the financial hardship of many students, here is another 
topic:
       A few weeks ago, the fzs was contacted by two professionals who 
wrote an open letter with the (perhaps somewhat provocative) title "To 
defend the teaching of presence". Much of the letter corresponds to our 
demands from the solidarity semester and as the coming winter semester 
is getting closer, it seemed to us that this was a good time to support 
such a letter. There has already been a debate on Twitter as to whether 
the letter simply calls for a return to purely analog teaching, which of 
course we - and the initiators too - do not want. If you want to know

"Anti-bias training: dealing with discrimination
A training program of anti-discrimination work "

Registration takes place online for basic, advanced and advanced courses 
(see below). The registration deadline is July 6, 2020.

"ANTI-BIAS"
Anti-bias can now be seen as one of the richest and most innovative 
approaches to educational work critical of discrimination. The anti-bias 
training methods originated in South Africa. The two speakers who 
present Anti-Bias in Weimar belong to a group that has adapted the 
training for Germany. The English word "bias" means bias, bias or 
prejudice.
The aim of the anti-bias work is the intensive experience-oriented 
examination of power and discrimination as well as the "unlearning" of 
oppressive and discriminatory forms of communication and interaction. In 
the training you will learn about experience and action-oriented methods 
that deal with prejudices and different types of discrimination (based 
on national or ethnic origin, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, 
physical or mental health, social class, etc.).
