Liebe Studierende der Bauhaus-Uni!

*Die Film-Initiative Weimar sucht Unterstützung im Team des Vorstands!*
Die Film-Initiative ist das Netzwerk für Filmschaffende in Weimar und 
hat als ein Hauptziel Studierende untereinander und mit anderen 
filminteressierten Menschen, auch außerhalb der Universität, zu 
vernetzen. Unser Netzwerk hat fast 200 Mitglieder und häufig statt finde 
Events wie: Kinoabende, Live-Übertragungen, Workshops und Treffen zum 
Austausch.
Als Mitglied des Film-Ini-Vorstands begibst du dich in das Zentrum des 
Weimarer audio-visuellen Netzwerkes und kannst es aktiv mitgestalten und 
fördern. Wenn du dich mit deinen Ideen in diese Gemeinschaft einbringen

*NETZWERKTREFFEN zum Kurzfilm in Mitteldeutschland *
Diesen Samstag, 21.05.2022 | Beginn: ab 13:30 Uhr, Ende: ca. 17:00 Uhr
Kino mon ami Weimar | Großer Saal

Der Nachwuchs der Film- und Medienschaffenden in Thüringen wächst 
stetig, die Möglichkeiten des gegenseitigen Austausches werden umso 
wichtiger. Nach zwei langen Jahren Pandemie, sind wir mehr als froh 
darüber, dass Kinos wieder geöffnet sind, Festivals wieder stattfinden 
und Theater sich wieder füllen. Daher ist der Zeitpunkt ideal, sich 
wieder gemeinsam ins Gespräch zu kommen, auf vergangene und noch 
zukünftige Projekte zu blicken und natürlich neue Menschen kennen zu lernen.
Die Poetryfilmtage als Spin-off des backup_Festivals laden gemeinsam mit 
dem Weimar Animation Club ein, um über die Situation der Film- und 
Medienschaffenden, über Nachwuchsförderung sowie das aktuelle 
Festivalgeschehen und weitere Auswertungsmöglichkeiten in 
Mitteldeutschland zu diskutieren.

Beginnen soll die Veranstaltung mit einer Podiumsdiskussion zu folgenden 
Themen:
1. Produktion & Förderung
2. Weiterbildung und Nachwuchsförderung
3. Filmfestivals in Mitteldeutschland und weitere Auswertungsmöglichkeiten

Anschließend wird es ausreichend Gelegenheit für individuelle Gespräche 
und den Austausch über mögliche Ideen für neue Projekte geben.
Ab 18:00 Uhr laden wir alle Teilnehmer dazu ein, an der diesjährigen 
Preisverleihung des 7. Weimarer Poetryfilmpreises im Lichthauskino 
teilzunehmen.

*The Film-Initiative Weimar is looking for support in the board team!*
The Film-Initiative is the network for filmmakers in Weimar and has as 
one of its main goals to connect students with each other and with other 
people interested in film, also outside the university. Our network has 
almost 200 members and frequently hosts events such as: Cinema evenings, 
live broadcasts, workshops and meetings for exchange.
As a member of the Film-Ini board, you will be at the centre of the 
Weimar audio-visual network and can actively help to shape and promote 
it. If you would like to contribute your ideas to this community, please

*NETWORK MEETING on short film in Central Germany*
Saturday, 21.05.2022 | Start: from 13:30, End: approx. 17:00
Cinema mon ami Weimar | Large Hall

The number of young filmmakers and media professionals in Thuringia is 
growing steadily, and opportunities for mutual exchange are becoming all 
the more important. After two long years of pandemic, we are more than 
happy that cinemas are open again, festivals are taking place again and 
theatres are filling up again. So the time is ideal to get back into 
conversation together, to look at past and still future projects and, of 
course, to get to know new people.
The Poetryfilmtage, as a spin-off of the backup_Festival, invites you 
together with the Weimar Animation Club to discuss the situation of film 
and media makers, the promotion of young talent as well as current 
festival events and further exploitation possibilities in Central Germany.

The event will begin with a panel discussion on the following topics:
1. production & promotion
2. further education and promotion of young filmmakers
3. film festivals in Central Germany and further exploitation possibilities.

Afterwards, there will be ample opportunity for individual discussions 
and the exchange of ideas for new projects.
 From 18:00 we invite all participants to attend this year's award 
ceremony of the 7th Weimar Poetry Film Prize at the Lichthauskino.
