Privacy policy – addition for members of the StuKo its student councils, members of the departments and initiatives, management of the StuKo
Below you will find the data protection regulations of all student representatives of the Weimar universities and their authorised persons.
These provisions apply in addition to the general data protection provisions:
As members of the StuKo and in the individual student councils, you are persons of public university life. Your names must be presented on the website so that members of the university and any third parties can see who the representatives of the student body are. It must also be possible to contact you as an individual. In this case, your BUW e-mail addresses will be published visibly. After the end of the legislative period, all your contact details will be deleted. According to the current legal provisions, the election results must remain accessible to the public for a further 12 years. Only the names of the candidates are stored in the archive with the election results of the last few years. They can be viewed by the public.
- Speakers must be elected by the StuKo. They are therefore automatically advisory, non-voting members of the StuKo and must also be made public for the duration of their term of office with their names, but without contact details. This data is presented on the respective pages of the departments.
- Members of the initiatives do not have to be publicised. We are only looking for one responsible person who will be the contact person. The initiative e-mail address can be used for contact purposes.
If you have any questions about data protection, please contact the Public Relations Department.
