Old and new students: Good luck with your studies!

Luca Lohr

Urban Studies B.Sc.

Who am I?

I’m Luca, 18 years old. I’ve been living in Weimar for three weeks now.
I’m in my first semester studying urban planning and I’m originally from
Eisenach. Yes, the city with Wartburg Castle.
I’m also a polite, friendly and very open person. I often listen to
different opinions on various topics and enjoy mediating.
I would describe myself as someone who is fundamentally open to many
things. For example, I was an active member of the Scouts for over 8 years.
That may be where my urge to try new things comes from. Another
characteristic of mine is my interest in railways. I have travelled a lot
and got to know different people and world views. It is therefore very
important to me personally to experience different perspectives and to get
to know a differentiated view of things.

Why am I running?

Why I am running: I want to stand up for the values, standards and, of
course, the opinions of my fellow students. I am also committed to
preserving the M18. Without this communal space, we students would be
missing out on a very good opportunity. I know that one vote against the
funding cuts for the M18 will not make much of a difference. But together
we will find a solution. Because community spirit is probably the most
important factor in getting things done.

Why should you vote for me? Openness, community spirit and the preservation
of M18.

I will try to represent your opinions as best I can.
I will also take critical opinions on board and stand up for you.
I want to have an open dialogue with you.

If you had the choice, which cafeteria meal would you be and why?

I choose the pasta dish. Almost always good, but still with its own
unique touch and creative flair on the plate. In other words, a dish for
everyone.
