Who am I?

Hello everyone, I’m Marco 22 years old and im studying fine arts in the
first semester. I already studied for three semesters Chinastudie at FU
Berlin and am a strong advocator for interdisciplinary work inside the
University. I also enjoy working with fabrics, repairing my bicycle myself,
drinking coffee and going to exhibitions. I want to help shaping the
everyday uni life and bring people together.

Why am I running?

I stand for exchange, cooperation and interdisciplinary projects. We
are fortunate to study at a university that attracts all kinds of people
from different backgrounds and different disciplines. However, it cannot be
taken for granted that this potential will be exploited. Spaces for
encounter and respectful coexistence are just as important here as joint
actions and initiatives. After all, we are all part of one faculty whose
commonalities will always outweigh the differences between our individual
studies.

If you had the choice, which cafeteria meal would you be and why?

I’d like to be the Tafelspitz. It was the first meal in Mensa when I
signed my contract. Where I now sit with my friends, I ate the Tafelspitz
dreaming about how my time at this University will be.
