Queer YMR stands for diversity, cohesion and community at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and beyond.

We are committed to diversity in all areas of life: This includes ethnic origin, gender/sex, sexual orientation, religion and worldview. We stand for solidarity and a sense of community – regardless of physical or mental disabilities, age and all other characteristics.

We advocate that everyone can be who they are. As a department of the StuKo (StudierendenKonvent), we see it as our task to be the central point of contact for those who experience exclusion. We stand by your side when problems arise and thanks to our network, we can take decisive action against discrimination.

We regularly organize events, such as Stitch & Bitch every first Friday of the month in the maschinenraum. If you would like to find out more about queer issues or simply have a good time with other people in a relaxed atmosphere, then you’ve come to the right place!
